If needles aren't for you, alternatives include moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, massage, or acupressure.

Each session starts with a consult about your goals and treatment progress. Based on what we are treating, acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, bodywork, diet advice, will follow-fully customised to your needs.
Needles are typically retained for 30 minutes where you rest.
Post-treatment, you will likely feel a sense of grounded calmness. I use gentle, minimal-needle techniques with premium needles for your comfort.

Frequency and total number of treatments required depends on what we are working on.
Research suggests starting with 1-2 treatments weekly for 4-6 weeks, followed by a review period where treatments may then be stretched out to once weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. This is impacted by your contribution to your treatment; changes to your lifestyle and diet.
Most patients stay in touch and visit for maintenance visits as they need.

Yes. Acupuncture is well researched to support nausea, pain, and headaches in pregnancy, and can also support in the postpartum phase with milk production or fatigue.

No. However herbal consults are a complimentary edition to each acupuncture session you have and they may or may not be recommend to speed up your treatment results.
